Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 Part 4 Part 5  Part 6  Part 7 Part 8

May 2, 2001- 2:24 AM

Ok, I know I've been bad. So, spank me...<g> Okay, not really. First of all I'd like to say THANK YOU for all the wonderful emails everyone has sent me over the last several months. They have been greatly appreciated. Work and RL have made it damn near impossible to concentrate on Jake and Mandy. Not that I haven't wanted to, mind you. There has been quite a lot of personal crap on my end that I've had to deal with as of late. A little of it good, a lot of it not so good. But, Part 9 is now up!!!!! Well, at least a very good portion of it. Once again, I'd like to thank all of you for your concern over the last several months and Yes, "Raven" will be completed shortly.

On a slightly different note, the last couple of weeks I've been slightly preoccupied with a little side project which will be unveiled, soon. Hopefully. No major details yet, but as soon as my "partner in crime" and I agree it's ready, all will be revealed. I think you'll like it. Hey Partner, quit your hiding. You know who you are...<gbg>

Well, my plane to Pasadena leaves in 4 hours and 56 minutes, so I should get this off to all of you. Hope to see some of you there. To my Beta-Ites, I love you! You are WONDERFUL! Thanks for all the support.

Well, Jake and Mandy (and the kids) await your company. So, I'll let all of you have at it.

Oh, yeah... one last small thing... Hey, Puppy? You lose...<gbg>

January 8, 2001- 12:45 AM

Happy New Year to everyone! I hope everyone had a pleasant holiday season. I must thank each and every one of you for helping push my site well over the 10,000 mark. I thought I was doing good when I had hit 100 visits on my site. I never imagined that I'd get anywhere near 10,000. Thanks everybody!!! Sorry it's taken so long for this update but hopefully, you'll find it well worth the wait. Of course, it's the remainder of Part 8. I had to go through A LOT to write what you will be reading soon. Believe it or not, I'm actually rather shy and so I couldn't write the rest of the chapter without turning 80 different shades of red...<bg>

Once again, Thanks goes out to the STBPS, BPSIT, Doofus, Goofy, Schnitzel and whatever else my trusted Beta-ites came up with in our numerous ramblings. Honestly, I don't remember all of the names we've come up with for each other.  :-)

Hopefully, it won't be anywhere near as long for the next update. As I said before, I was rather shy writing the last part of this update and was pretty amazed that I actually had the nerve to hit the "Send" key on my email when sending it off to the Beta Readers. So, PLEASE,.... Feed the Bard. Let me know what you think. I am anxiously awaiting your approval.

Take Care Everybody! Talk to you, soon!

December 7, 2000- 6:56 PM

Well, here's the beginning to Part 8. You know,... I had a massive "brain fart" on the last update. Don't ask why I had mentioned Joan Jett starring in "Rocky Horror" as "Olympia"... I must have been tired to mistake "Olympia" with "Columbia"...<bg>. The show was incredible and definitely worth the trip. If any of you happen to live in NY, I highly recommend going to check it out. I've also updated the "Music" page with the info for the songs in this chapter.

Thanks to my favorite "Nitpickers" and "BPS"'s. Once again, you guys are incredible !

Just so there is no mistake, there is only one faithful and loyal Guinea Dog.

Enjoy and remember to feed the Bard!!!!

November 15, 2000- 9:24 PM

Here is the remainder of Part 7. The end contains a new piece of information that won't be at all surprising to some of you, considering the numerous emails I've received on the subject. Thanks once again to the Beta Readers "phor  aul there grate" help. But as you can see, I'm hopeless...<g> I hope everyone enjoys this update until I can return from my trip up North. I'll bring back some photos of "Steve", "Jason" and myself. I'm taking a little trip to see them and "Vinnie". I'm also going to see Joan Jett on Saturday night in NYC. She's starring in the Broadway version of "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" as "Olympia". This should be interesting. Everyone have a safe weekend and drop me a line or two so I'll have something to read upon my return...<g> BTW, Karen?... My favorite Guinea Dog,... you lost our bet... pay up!...<bg>

Later!!!

November 5, 2000- 4:34 PM

Well, here we are again. For those of you who knew that my mother had been ill, I thank you for your emails and well wishes on her recovery. They were greatly appreciated. She is doing better now and was allowed to come home from the hospital this passed week.

Here is the beginning, or I guess I should say "first half" of Part 7. I would really like to thank the new Beta Readers for all of their great help. You guys had everything read and corrected way ahead of what I expected.

Let's see... what else is new?... Oh yes, the newest and youngest "Raven" reader whom I mentioned in the last update. This is Jakub Ryan. Many thanks to his "Mommy" for sending me the pics. Isn't he adorable?

Jacob1.jpg (21547 bytes) Jacob2.jpg (22805 bytes) Jacob3.jpg (19055 bytes)

Well, the Wine Festival was fun. I had the opportunity to meet one of my new Beta Readers. You guys should have been there. It was very interesting. Thanks to Roxann for coming to hang out with us. Of course, she's probably been scarred for life...<g> She was a real trooper putting up with my shenanigans all afternoon, not to mention the shenanigans of "Terry and Jay", "Angela", "Vinnie" and "Dr. Guaspari" I'll try to post a couple of pictures from it soon. I suppose I should get permission from a few people first...<g> Steve (Vinnie) did happen to take a couple of pics of my tattoos. I've wanted a good picture of these since I got them. Let's see how they look, shall we? The "Bard" tattoo is on my arm and has not been finished yet. The guitar is on my shoulder and the lyric above it says, "Tell Me What It Takes To Play With Fire..." and was written by the "real" Steve, who is NOT a Police Officer...<bg> The guitar was actually done from a photograph of the guitar I use most often, a 1979 Gibson Les Paul Custom. It is the guitar seen in the last photo.

Well, that's about it for now. I hope everyone enjoys the new stuff. Keep those emails coming!!!

October 15, 2000- 4:33 PM

Well, before I let you know about the new stuff, I have to say Congrats to my good friend Celine. I would like to take this opportunity to welcome the newest, and youngest, "On Raven's Wing" reader. Celine's healthy new baby boy, Jakub Ryan. He was born Tuesday night at 12:38 AM. Weighing in at 9 lbs. 2 1/2 oz. and 22" long. Congrats to my friend and the new little man.

Now for the new stuff, here's the ending of Part 6. Unfortunately, the Halloween party isn't here yet. I decided it was time to bring up a couple of things between Jake and Raven. I've also added a few new pages to the site. Fan Appreciation is the page with all of the really cool stuff everyone has sent me since I began posting the story. I've also added a page listing all the music and lyrics included in "Raven". It's linked to the Sounds page and is called Music

There is a new cover for the story provided to me by Michelle. Be sure to stop by and check out her site. I've added the link to the Favorite Links page. And for those of you who might have been wondering who I had pictured in my mind as Ryan, check out the Photo Album page where I've added some photos. Not only of Ryan, but of Raven's mother, Britney, as well as some new ones of Mandy. Ryan had to be somebody I really didn't mind killing off before the story even started but he had to be nice looking. Take a look.

That should just about do it for today. The new Xena ep starts in just a few minutes so I'll hurry up and get this posted. Next Saturday on the 21st, is the Wine Festival at Towne Point Park. If anybody in the area plans on going, email me and let me know. Take care everybody and Keep Reading. keep Sending those emails, too!!!...<bg>

October 2, 2000- 2:32 AM

I know... OUCH!!! Sorry it's taken so long for such a short bit. To be honest with you, I wasn't planning on writing the first kiss in so soon. But, I couldn't deny all the email requests I received asking for it. It kind of threw me off for a bit. I had to re-work some things in my head and figure out how I could still bring my other ideas around to the same place I wanted to take them to originally. So, sorry for the minor bout of "Writer's Block". I believe I'm back on track now. Expect to read the Halloween party by Friday.

On a side note, there won't be any updates on Tuesdays or Wednesdays. I am happy to say that the original band from 7 years ago has gotten back together. Wednesday is Band practice night while Tuesdays are my night to cram all the new stuff in before Wednesday...<bg>. So, unless I get a night off from practice, the updates will be posted Thurs - Sun nights. As I mentioned earlier, the Halloween party should be up by Friday.

Be sure to check out the "Photo Album" page. I've added a few new photos of Jason, Steve, Jake and a few for a couple of our favorite bartenders as well. Also, check out this cool Top 10 list I received from AJ. I think it's great. There will be a new page for stuff like this soon as well as any artwork that is sent my way. So if anybody out there happens to get bitten by the creative bug, send any of it my way!

August 30, 2000- 10:02 PM

O.K... here's quite an update for everybody. Part 5 is completed and Part 6 has begun! I didn't update last week because I wanted to get to a certain point. I wanted to make sure it would be worth the wait so, please email me and let me know if this is the case. While on the subject of Part 6, I'd like to dedicate the chapter to T. While working out of town two months ago, I read the story to her during our 3 1/2 hour drive home. The next 2 weeks were not quite as boring while working 12 hour days. She helped me "set the stage" for everything that takes place in this chapter. Discussing how this part was going to play out is actually what kept the two of us sane. The chapter is also "lyrically heavy". while listening to each of the songs quoted, an entire scene would play out in both our heads. T, I hope you think I did our imaginations justice. Also, at the insistence of many of my friends, I included myself in the story. I had a lot of fun making fun of myself. It's kind of strange how I have no trouble writing somebody else but don't have a clue when it comes to writing "me".

Take care everybody and thanks for reading. Don't forget to keep those emails coming. I'm going to go get some sleep now. I've had 1 hour of sleep in the last 38 hours. Not to mention the fact that I'm sick with a damn summer cold. Goodnight, everybody! :-)

August 21, 2000-  11:56 PM

Sorry about the time between the updates here, folks. Work was a real b*tch last week. I went to Atlantic City on Friday with some friends to see Joan Jett. It was INCREDIBLE!!! As usual, I was not in the least bit disappointed with Joan's performance. I went with some friends of mine and since I wasn't driving, borrowed my friend's laptop to do some writing on the way up and back home. Here's a small update and the beginning of Part 5. There will be more tomorrow. I've been playing with the page properties a bit. There should be a sound byte playing of the song lyrics at the beginning of each chapter when you open the page now. All except for Chapter 2 which was included in Part 1. I've also added a new summary on the "Raven" page written by my friend, Lyn. I think she did a fantastic job.

Thanks for all the emails. You know how I love them so keep 'em coming!! You guys are great and thanks for the 2000+ hits on the site over the weekend. It made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside...<bg>

By the way... on a side note, I HIGHLY recommend that everybody go run out and see Coyote Ugly. There will be a pop quiz later...<bg> It's a great movie (IMHO) and I've seen it.... Twice!

August 14, 2000- 1:47 AM

I must say, that you guys have been SO patient waiting for this update. Thanks for being so understanding these last couple of weeks. Things have been pretty tough, with me working night shift. I hadn't been able to update as often as I wanted to. I figured, I'd make it up to you by finishing out the chapter. Things should, hopefully, be easier this week since I'm home, working in town for a change...  :-)

I completed  Part 4 and added some new links to the LINKS page. Thanks to everyone who has written to me. It's been great getting to know you all. And thanks to everyone who has graciously posted links to my site from theirs.

Good night, everybody. Hope you enjoy it. I'll be working on Part 5 for you. Keep those emails coming!!!

Sorry, Steve... I stole the flames from your site...<bg>

August 7, 2000- 2:41 AM

Well folks, here you go. Thanks for all the great emails! Just so you know, you guys win. I have to leave to go out of town AGAIN in about.... 4 hours. The computer is coming with me so you lovely people don't have to wait 2 weeks for an update again. I know how aggravating it can be when you want to know what's going to happen. After all, I'm a huge FanFic reader, myself. Here's an update to Part 4. You guys HAVE to go back and re-read the Hockey game bit. I made a change. I think you'll like it! I've also revised Part 3. Mostly just capitalization. I have no idea how long I'll be gone for work now but, as I said... I'll have my computer with me. I'm working nights while out of town so I'm not sure when the site will be updated during the day but, rest assured... you guys will be the first to know!...<bg>    ;-)

Thanks for reading and keep those comments coming!

July 24, 2000- 12:20 AM

Here's more to Part 4. I have to leave to go out of town again in 4 hours. There won't be another update until next week when I get back. I've also added a Guestbook to the Home page. I'm rather curious to hear what you have to say after this one little part in here. Hopefully, I'll be able to update by this weekend. I know how much I hate it when I'm left hanging on a story so I don't like doing it to you. Have a good week everybody and keep reading! Thanks once again for all the cool emails! Keep 'em coming!

July 23, 2000- 1:50 AM

Well, here's a small update to Part 4. There will be a larger one later on today. I have to go out of town for work again. I probably won't be back until the middle of next week sometime so, I'll make sure it's a good one. Just need to get a couple hours of sleep first...<bg> I've also revised the first 3 parts. Finally got my "discrepancy" list back from my beta-reader on the new stuff...<bg>

July 18, 2000- 12:11 AM

Here's the beginning of  Part 4. I wanted to get to a certain point tonight but I'm a little wiped now. I've been writing all day, enjoying my day off. Now I have to get up for work, out of town, in four hours...<groan> I will see what I can do about getting access to a computer while I'm gone this week to update Part 4. I'll be writing either way. Whether it be long hand or typing.

Keep those emails coming, folks. They're very inspiring! Thanks to everyone who has emailed so far. I love talking with you guys!

Have a good week and keep reading! Hopefully, there'll be an update by Saturday morning.

July 17, 2000-

Well, Part 3 is finished. Little bit of background info. I'm in the middle of Part 4 now. I will have that posted before I go to bed tonight. I know I said I'd update this weekend but, I figured I'd give it all to you in one shot. I leave @ 5:00 tomorrow morning so there will be no more updates till this weekend. If there are none by Saturday, feel free to call my boss and bitch...<bg> Part 4 will be up soon.

July 13, 2000-

Whew! Here's an update to Part 3. Sorry there's been none for a couple days. Been a very hectic week at work. I should have quite a few updates this weekend. Very significant ones, at that! I have to go out of town next week for work on Tues. and will probably be gone till Friday so, I'm trying to make up for it this weekend. Added new stuff to the "Links" page. Beyond Uber and Calli's site.

July 8 & 9, 2000-

All of the sound bytes are up. Don't forget, the songs can be listened to with RealPlayer 7. I also added some more pictures to the "Photo Album" and a bit more to Part 3.

What's New? It's ALL new!

July 7, 2000-

Well, here we are. And here it is. My new website. Wander around for a bit. There's two full parts to read and a good sized portion of the third. Later! Oh, yeah... don't forget to email me!!!

Just for you Calli. Thanks for the cover and even though you didn't know, Thanks for the Birthday Cake!
